assigning battery to aircraft.

Postby jbeynon » Sat Nov 16, 2002 2:26 pm

When i create a new battery and assign it to an aircraft (which already has a battery) - the Aircraft Selector doesn't show existing aircraft in it..
is this a bug? or are aircraft only allowed to use one battery?

There are two types of batteries, flight packs and generic pack. Flight packs are batteries used to operate electric aircraft. Generic packs are things like receiver packs, transmitter packs, field box batteries and such. In a battery?s property sheet you can indicate that the battery is a flight pack by clicking on the check box. You can then further restrict the battery to be used on a specific aircraft. However, the models listed in the aircraft list are only the models that are electric power. Only models that have the ?Electric Power? check box selected will show up in this list.

Again, you only do this for flight packs. For receiver batteries you select the battery from within the aircraft properties sheet.
