Start log after several flying seasons

Is there a way to add a "guesstimate" of the time a particular aircraft has alrady flown? This is to be added to the running total on the flight log.

I found this program on the net a few days ago, right now I believe is great, I've been meaning to create a log for my birds but I never created one because I couldn't think where to start.

I can possibly remember how many times have flown in the past few months but there is no way I can remember how many times I have flown the entinre life of some of my models.

Thanks in advance.

The way I tackled this was that when I first started to use the program I created one session and added a log for ever aircraft I had. I estimated the flights for each model up to that point.

Do this after you have added all your accessories to flight log. This way if you log hours or fuel consumption then the initial log will add those history records as well.

To be entirely accurate, in my case I had kept a paper log book for the previous two years. So I created a Session on Dec 31 for 1999 and 2000 and one session on July 5 2001 (The first day of Flight Logs existence :D ) I then made summaries for 1999, 2000, and from Jan 2001 to July 5 2001 from my paper logs.

This way I can still compare total number of flights from 1999, 2000, 2001, and now 2002 even thought Flight Log has only been around for 1 year.

After I posted the message here, I thought of that. I never kept logs for my birds, bad, very bad, but now with the help of this program I plan to fix this.

Thanks for a great program...
