Parts Purchased

Postby HUDnOTOW » Tue Sep 26, 2006 4:47 pm

Being new to Flight Log I may have missed the part of the manual that provides the answer to my question. However, I am not a flyer that needs to stock lots of parts for building, repair, and general maintenance. I just wish to keep track of what I purchase and what it costs. I cannot figure out any means of doing that without developing a stock level before I purchase the parts. Can I do this? How?

Thanks for a great program.

You can treat items as accessories and tools. You can create categories in the accessory list to group similar types of items. Parts are for consumables, things that you buy lots of and do not want to track in terms of usgae.

You do not have to associate accessories with models if you do not wish. It will still track costs.

Thanks, I appreciate the idea. I will sure look at taking that direction.
